GlobalRes Digital Travel Service Limited has been rapidly expanding since our establishment in 1994. GlobalRes Group holds 11 travel agents in different regions globally, among North America, South East Asia, Hong Kong and Greater China markets. Our Group is strongly supported by two major shareholders ViaGold Capital Limited (Stock code: VIA) and Culturecom Holdings Limited (Stock code: 343) both of which are listed companies on the Australian Stock Exchange Limited (ASX) and the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Ltd (HKEX) respectively. Since the acquisition of GlobalRes in 2000, ViaGold Capital Limited has invested over HK$100 million on its travel business and the development of Hotel Online Reservation System, revealing the Group's financial competence and long term commitment. GlobalRes Group is developing both its B2B and B2C online reservation business in full swing. Building on our solid land-based operation, GlobalRes is targeting to be the world's largest Hotel Online Reservation and travel product trading platform. GlobalRes plays the role of "VISA" or "MasterCard" for hotels around the world. For it is the system provider for hotels, airlines, travel agents and end users. Instead of charging all parties for using "VISA" or "MasterCard", we are offering all users of the system the choices of best rates and best services on a free-for-all basis.We have established a strong foothold in Canada's travel industry, with three subsidiary companies, Campbell Travel Ltd., Asiaworld Travel Vancouver Ltd. and Dominion Pacific Travel (Canada) Ltd. forming the largest travel group in Vancouver. Campbell Travel is currently the largest ticketing wholesaler for Japan Airlines, Cathay Pacific Airways and Air Canada......etc. While Dominion Pacific Travel (Canada) Ltd. is on par with Campbell Travel for Eva Airways and China Airlines and Asiaworld Travel Vancouver is one of the largest hotel room wholesalers in the region. In terms of interest in the South East Asia region, our group is holding Singapore based Lotus Travel, which is the largest ticketing wholesaler for 9 airlines including Cathay Pacific Airways, Lufthansa, Northwest Airlines, United Airlines, Air France, Eva Airways, Qantas Airways, Scandinavian Airlines, Asiana Airlines. In Hong Kong, GlobalRes Group holds Asiaworld Travel Limited, one of the largest hotel room wholesalers while Many Way Travel Service specializes in one stop corporate travel arrangements. With a strong supplier base as mentioned, we have attracted more than 1,200 travel agents and over 20,000 hotels worldwide, to subscribe to our System. Hotels with direct contract with GlobalRes now amount to 6,000 hotels distributed in 661 cities over 52 countries. GlobalRes is able to offer our clients some of the most competitive rates on the market. In line with our mission, GlobalRes G4 is currently the leading Online Reservation System catered specifically for Asian travel agents and the Chinese community within the Asia Pacific region. By the end of this year, our Interactive Voice Response (IVR) Reservation system will be officially launched providing 24-hour real-time hotel reservation with instant confirmation on an "anytime, anywhere" basis. With our aggressive approach towards developing and enhancing our Hotel Online Reservation System, we believe GlobalRes will be able to capture the lion share of the worldwide market.
